This hangs in my room. I bought it in San Francisco years ago when I went to see my friend L. I was immediately attracted to it since I love the color purple. Also it is Dionysus the Greek God of theatre so I thought I had to have it. :)

Happy New Year, Vera!
Followed you over here from LJ (I still lurk there occasionally.) Bill, I absolutely love this blog. Keep it up! You are so correct in that seeing things through a lens changes how we, ourselves, see the world around us. It's a great feeling. As I look at your photos, it also seems like you're taking this giant metropolis and pointing out these special things about it that make it seem somewhat smaller and more human.
Hope you are well. *Big hugs!*

Laura,
How wonderful to hear from you. I hope you are well. I am glad you like the blog. It's really feeding a part of my soul, not to sound totally crazy.
New York is Human....sort of! :)
Love you,
Vera
That's beautiful! I don't remember you buying that (presuming I'm L)?
This is cool, I'm so glad you're doing it. My friends Patti and Martin did it last year and it was a lot of fun. I miss you, Ricky!
love,
Lucy
I miss you too Lucy. I wish I had come for Christmas. I assume I will see you in June in MD?!? I am having fun with it. You are correct you are L. I know I bought it when I was out there. I remember they had others but I liked this one right from the start and when I saw it had to do with theatre I had to get it. I think I got it in 1999.
Love you,
Ricky
Isn't he also the god of wine? :) Makes you go "hmmmm". :)
What are you saying I am LUSH!?!?
No, I'm just sayin'.
