Here are some pictures of Libby, J & D's dog. She was very kind to let P and I have her bed. She's a sweetheart. She only tried to eat me once!! I need to lay off the bacon cologne!! 
This is a picture of a dog (wolf?) from behind someone's house in Akron. We stopped by to see my cousin M on the way to dinner and I saw some dogs in a yard nearby. Then I noticed this one. Thankfully he was on a chain! :) I was afraid he was going to blow my house down!
Just some cute houses we saw in Cleveland. I really liked the colors and designs of them. 
So J, D, P and I had brunch on Sunday and then went shopping. We stumbled upon these selections. I consider myself adventuresome in terms of eating but I must admit I don't think I would partake of Sauerkraut juice...I don't care how "Digestive" it is!! Celery juice is equally unappealing to me as well but at least it's Organic! :P
So on the drive home P noticed in the rear view mirror that Optimus Prime was following us. He passed us and saved the world!
This is a shot out the window in PA somewhere. Every so often I would see something and gasp that I wanted to take a picture of it but by the time I would get the camera ready we would be past it. 
This one of the things I miss the most from Ohio - Skyline Chili!! I grew up with Skyline (and Goldstar, another company) It was everywhere. I remember going to Goldstar in the Towne Mall as a kid. It was right next to the arcade (ahh arcades!) and when I went to the mall I always got a coney or two. Coneys are a little hot dog with Cincinnati Chili and cheese you can add onions and mustard. I don't do the mustard but I love it. So when we moved to MD I was shocked to find that they were only an Ohio thing and not in MD. So this was a true treat to have.
This is the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. It was fun but they don't allow photos inside!! 
This is from the restaurant we went to for lunch (I can't remember the name). It had a lot of vegan options for P. This sculpture sits in the corner and I thought it was really cool. I just wish the thing under it was not there so it showed up better.
This is what happens when you give a Vegan a "Milkshake" or should I say a Riceshake. P got a little overzealous when he poured the leftover in his glass.

We went to a store that had all kinds of older toys etc. I used to LOVE He-Man. To think that I used to have so many of these. My Dad gave most of them away when I was away in college. It was fun to look at them with P and say which ones we had.

Showtime took over the Sheraton Hotel on 7th for the upcoming premire of The Tudors. I enjoy the show and found it fun to see this in the middle of the city!

I saw this on Broadway and don't ever recall walking past it before. I like it but this picture makes it look a lot more alien than it looked to me when I saw it. 
I saw these in the window of the Mrs. Field's in Radio City. It was a different kind of Easter Window. I sure seem to be posting about cookies quite a bit lately. Who needs to get back on the WW train!?!? :)
You'd almost think I only hang around Columbus Circle since all my pictures of late seem to be from there. However in fairness I do walk past here every day. I've always like this global and since it was a sunny day I figured I'd snap this picture. I can't wait to see it with the trees in bloom.
I took this picture of the angel in Columbus Circle from across the street. I almost think it's new as the body and wings are brighter than the rest. I didn't notice the "One Way" sign until I went to post it. Is the Lord telling me something? :)
I saw this on 8th avenue and had to take this picture for K, they are his favorite cookies. I have never loved these. I mean don't get me wrong I do love them in ice cream but I never really grew up with them around. I actually prefer the vanilla ones. Or better yet NUTTER BUTTERS!! Now there's a truck I'd steal! :) Wow now I want to break up nutter butters and vanilla oreos in ice cream. 
These are painted on the wall of a spot on Graham Ave in Brooklyn that P and I stop in to get vegan cookies. They have about everything you can think of in them. Chocolate Chips, Oatmeal, Coconut and some other stuff I can't think of at the moment. I also don't recall the name of the restaurant. I think it's called the Mighty Diamond? I like the colors. 
Today to kill some time I went Midtown Comics East. I have been there in at least 6 or 8 months. I ended up buying the first Trade Paper Back for Buffy the Vampire Slayer. It is the first six issues of "Season 8". I picks up where the TV show left off. I had the first two issues but now I have the whole arc. I have to say the story is fun to read. I combines two things I love - Comics and Buffy!! I was talking about the store tonight and I realize how excited and energized I get talking about comics. I should find a way to harness that. So here are pictures of some DC characters including my favorite : WONDER WOMAN. This is art work by Axel Ross. I have always liked his interpretation of her. 
Here I am giving five to a Leprechaun I happened to run into on the way to dinner tonight. I couldn't get him to show me where the pot of gold was!!
Hey I know that PIG!! Here's P hugging his favorite pig. We happened to be getting dinner next door and since I made him pose with this pig once before I HAD to get him to pose again. He was gracious enough to do it and didn't even get beat up by the drunken bystanders!!

So I finally went outside today! I am feeling better about 75% so I went to meet P for dinner at Gobo. It was great but it's a bit pricey. What is it the vegans overcharging for cryin' out loud!?!? There's no meat! :)
So I am still home sick. I think I am getting better. I am bummed cause P & I were invited to E's game night in Brooklyn. I was looking forward to it but I still didn't feel 100%. I think it's better that I rest this weekend than run around so it was for the best. However the photos are of P's and my dinner from last week at Angelica Kitchen. I had the top one which was Seitan with Mashed Sweet Potatoes (I LOVE mashed Sweet potatoes!) and string beans. P had the Ole Man Seitan burrito which had Mole sauce. I LOVE Mole Sauce. :) We shared it all. It was funny cause I was wanted to ask for a second plate to give half of mine to P but he told me to just eat half and then pass him the plate. For some reason that never occurred to me as splitting a meal. It worked but I think I like the idea of having both options in front of me at once. It's my Gemini showing, I like options! :)
